Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 14/02/2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, repairs, assessments, and sales provided by The Pool Robotic Centre ("we", "us", "our"). By engaging our services or purchasing products from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Services Provided

The Pool Robotic Centre specialises in the inspection, servicing, diagnosis, and repair of robotic pool cleaners. Our services include (but are not limited to):

  • Warranty and non-warranty repairs

  • Fault diagnostics and assessments

  • Replacement of parts and components

  • General servicing and maintenance advice

While we predominantly service Maytronics robotic pool cleaners, we may also service other brands including Austral and Zodiac where parts and technical information are available.

2. Manufacturer Relationship

  • The Pool Robotic Centre is not the manufacturer of any robotic pool cleaner or component unless explicitly stated.

  • Any manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the manufacturer.

  • Where authorised, we may act as a warranty repair agent; however, approval of warranty claims is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.

  • We do not guarantee acceptance of warranty claims.

3. Warranty Repairs

  • Warranty repairs are subject to manufacturer terms, conditions, and assessment procedures.

  • Proof of purchase and valid warranty documentation may be required prior to commencement of any warranty work.

  • If a product is found to be outside of warranty or excluded from warranty coverage, repair costs (including labour, parts, and freight) will be charged to the customer.

  • Warranty repairs do not extend or renew the original manufacturer warranty period.

4. Non-Warranty Repairs & Quotes

  • All non-warranty repairs are chargeable.

  • Quotes are provided based on initial assessment and may change if further faults are identified during repair.

  • Where repair costs exceed the quoted amount by a reasonable margin, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.

  • Diagnostic or inspection fees may apply even if the repair is declined.

5. Parts & Availability

  • Replacement parts are subject to availability from suppliers and manufacturers.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by part shortages, discontinued components, or supplier delays.

  • Any estimated timeframes provided are indicative only.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must disclose any known faults, prior repairs, water chemistry issues, or modifications made to the cleaner.

  • Cleaners must be provided in a reasonably clean condition. Excessively dirty or contaminated units may incur an additional cleaning fee or be refused.

  • The Pool Robotic Centre is not responsible for damage caused by poor pool water chemistry, improper use, or failure to follow manufacturer operating instructions.

7. Unrepairable Units

  • If a robotic cleaner is deemed uneconomical or unrepairable, we will notify the customer.

  • Diagnostic fees may still apply.

  • We are not obligated to return replaced or faulty parts unless requested at the time of service.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Pool Robotic Centre shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service or repair provided.

  • We are not responsible for damage arising from normal wear and tear, misuse, improper storage, water ingress due to external factors, or electrical issues beyond the cleaner itself.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded.

10. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required prior to collection or return of repaired units unless otherwise agreed.

  • We reserve the right to withhold release of equipment until full payment has been received.

11. Abandoned Equipment

  • Equipment not collected within 60 days of repair completion or notification may be considered abandoned.

  • We reserve the right to dispose of abandoned equipment to recover costs.

12. Changes to Terms & Conditions

The Pool Robotic Centre reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available upon request or on our website.
